The worst part of my visit was the biddy brigade. Every parish has one. All the female empty-nesters unfailingly decide that the best way to occupy their time is to congregate at church and harass the clergy, young people, and visitors. The biddies at this place were especially aggressive.

Next time I am in the area, I will go to the Novus Ordo. It's just not worth going to this place.

Traditional Latin Mass! Great little school teaching the children from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Looking at your home page, I see no Catholic symbols...

A little piece of heaven. One thing that always stood out to me about Saint Benedict Center is how balanced they are about current events.

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph,

Sandra Martin

When I attempted to reach my car after Mass, I encountered a large group of older women congregating immediately outside the exit of the building. They were blocking my way, and I was forced to go through them. Obviously, I was new in town, and one of the biddies could not resist the urge to hijack me. She ignored my body language that said that I was in a hurry because my schedule for the day was very tight, and she literally stepped in front of me to stop me from going further. She began grilling me with all kinds of questions about my name, rank, and serial number. I had to walk away from her while she was still talking in order to stay on time.

Please explain what your homepage means.

The small acapella choir of nuns showed skill. The pitch was amazingly true, although the sound lacked power. Still, considering how many dreadful, Catholic choirs I have heard, the performance of this one was pleasing enough.

When I reached the parking area, all I found was a circular, dirt driveway.

Dear Saint Benedict Center,

None of the buildings are in brick. Everything is covered in vinyl siding. The chapel looks like a glorified storage shed. At the time of my visit, the floor was bare concrete. The windows were missing stained glass. They were just clear. There is a mural behind the altar that looks like a high school art project gone wrong. Surprisingly, the altar linens were actually quite nice. I liked those.

This place is the trailer park of religious communities. The whole property looks rough. It is located off a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. To reach it, I had to pass a handful of shabby-looking houses that appeared as though squatters had taken over. That was not a promising sign.

This place is wonderful. The Divine Liturgy is beautiful and heavenly. The priests serve the liturgy reverently and devoutly. The music is very meditative.

All the other cars seemed to be randomly scattered across the patchy grass.
