I took advantage of the Vermont Ski Association's "Learn to Ski Free" weekend in January at Bolton Valley -- and have high praise for the program and for all the staff. From sign-in, through equipment fitting, to the 90 minute class it was a really great experience. The instructor knew just how to help me learn the fundamentals and had me skiing down the mountain in under 30 minutes. (This is a vast improvement over my first attempt a year ago which left me frustrated and bruised.) My family - including my grade-school age kids - were thrilled to hear that I'm excited to add my name to the family pass next season at Bolton.
Great place! Although not the fanciest, is definitely family friendly and had a great atmosphere!
I love Bolton Valley! So much to do! Hike or Mountain Bike or Check out the Michilan Tire Drive Center in the Fall, Spring & Summer! In the Winter you'll want to check out the many great ski trails! Bolton Valley also has cute shops, a cafeteria and 2 cute restuarants!
